Be under no illusions. moving to a new country is a stressful, worrying time. Within the space of a few weeks, you'll need to:

• Find a house to buy or rent

• Find school(s) for the children.

• Buy at least one car.

• Find work.

• ...All whilst trying to fend-off the many sharks trying to rip-off unprepared newcomers.

Perth is a great place to live, but so much pressure in such a short time can rush you into decisions that you may later regret.

Our own migrant experience, and those of others, prompted us to start this service. Since starting it, we've been shocked by some of the things that we've heard. Also, remember, advice from family and friends will be biased towards how THEY want to live their lives - not necessarily how YOU want to live.
